London Street Photography
Having said that I don’t take photographs of London street life, here are some. They were all taken quite a while ago, before the city became hollowed out of its former character — back when you could still find interesting people doing interesting things in public, apparently unaware that anyone was watching.
The cameras here range from an early Sony NEX-6 to a Nikon 1 V3, a Nokia Lumia 1020, and various Sony RX100s — London street photography being exactly the kind of work where a smaller, less conspicuous camera is an advantage. The subjects include commuters, buskers, tourists, and people who look as if they’ve been standing in the same spot for a very long time.
Photographs in this album include: The very large man, Dreaming but not of you, Smoker, Taxi!, The bagman descends, The Caledonian Geronimo, You me and the National Gallery, The bagpipe player, On the London Tube, South bank reverie, Waterloo, and more.
