On parts of the Cape Peninsula you get amazing weathered granite boulders that have quite pure curves and lines. This group, just south of Simonstown, faces east to the sea, and are here lit by the horizontal early morning light. The shot was taken with a Fuji X-M1, (a terrific little camera, and an absolute bargain if you can find one on eBay), and it reminds me how great Fujis are for this kind of shot. The exposure was 4 minutes, I would guess there was 13 stops of ND, and the focal length was 56mm equivalent at f8 on the 18-55mm f2.8 kit lens (another Fuji stunner for LE photography). Time to get my X-T3 out and do some more........g
