The wreck of the “Point Reyes”

A tripod mounted long exposure shot of 108 seconds, taken on the Olympus E-M1ii with a 7-14mm (14-28 FFE) ultra wide angle lens. The actual focal length used was 7mm, which is what gives the interesting perspective of the boat and the sky. The boat was built in 1944, and was a World War II launch boat that brought soldiers from aircraft carriers in the Bay Area to port. It was then used for salmon fishing for many years and finally abandoned in Inverness in around 1997.
