Yellow-throated Toucan Crossing the Roadside Clearing

At Tirimbina near Sarapiquí, Costa Rica, a Yellow-throated Toucan crosses the open roadside view in a broad flight stroke with the tree behind it. The frame belongs to a twelve-photograph sequence following the bird out of its tree cavity and into flight.
