Yellow-throated Toucan Fully Airborne Beyond Its Cavity

At Tirimbina near Sarapiquí, Costa Rica, a Yellow-throated Toucan flies fully clear of the trunk with wings and tail spread and the cavity receding behind it. The frame belongs to a twelve-photograph sequence following the bird out of its tree cavity and into flight.
