Green-breasted Mango Turning Beside Heliconia

At Dave & Dave's Nature Pavilion in Sarapiquí, Costa Rica, a Green-breasted Mango hummingbird hovers beside the flower at a three-quarter angle with the near wing raised and the far wing swept outward. The flower and clear green background show why this open riverside deck worked so well for flight photography.
