Rufous-tailed Jacamar in Flight with Wings and Tail Spread

At Pierella Garden in Costa Rica, a Rufous-tailed Jacamar faces almost directly toward the camera with wings spread and rufous underparts visible above a symmetrical tail. The flight position is one stage of the garden's short jacamar sequence, photographed beside a branch near the butterfly station.
