The auntie DoDo method
My great auntie DoDo (short for Doris) was a formidable woman. Only the second female works accountant ever in the UK, she lived to a great age and some wealth despite breaking almost every health rule. One of her habits was to smoke untipped Capstan Full Strength cigarettes without removing them from her mouth, until the improbably long trail of ash dropped on to her shelf-like embonpoint below. I hadn't seen that style of smoking for a while, but here was this very characterful lady busy cleaning the streets while the ash on the Budapest equivalent of a Capstan became longer and longer. There is also a lot of experience and some pain in those eyes.
